About Project

The renovation of this community space in one of Hamilton’s most prestigious historic buildings included a complete transformation of the lower hall while the Basilica above remained in full operation. This project included the installation of a new air conditioning system to service the Church and its renovated hall, as well as significant upgrades to its electrical systems. The reconstruction included the installation of a banquet style kitchen facility as well as retrofits to existing washroom and adjacent anti-rooms. Stunning millwork finishes including Bird’s Eye Maple on baseboards and column surrounds, a new electric fireplace and mantle featuring an array of exotic woods and a solid granite base, drywall bulkheads, a suspended acoustical ceiling system finished with solid wood accents.
