Mohawk College

Student Association Lounge

About Project

The Mohawk College Student’s Association needed to make a change. Their student lounge was outdated, worn out and tired. Their challenge was to update the lounge, while maintaining the style of the surroundings and completing the process while the college was in session. Students and staff were always within a short distance of the project as it is located in a main corridor between campus buildings. Safety was of the utmost importance. Kemp Construction completed this project without incident and to rave reviews from the students. The new space offers a modern yet comfortable feel with plenty of space to study, have a bite or just hang out. The lounge is wired for internet access for students and staff and provides a perfect stopover point to recharge between classes.
