Goreway Generating Station

Construction of the Operations Building at Goreway Power site for SNC Lavalin. Work consisted of thermal envelope, siding, masonry, roofing, HVAC, electrical, interior and exterior partitions and finishes. The construction of this 2-story industrial Operations
Building required extensive masonry work to start mid-winter. This posed extensive weather challenges to the construction of a building that was 480 feet long
by 80 feet wide and 50 feet tall. The cold weather impact was dealt with by constructing a temporary envelope around the entire building. This was a fast-track project that involved advanced weather protection techniques and complicated tie-in requirements to other projects running concurrently.
